Fly Stretching

Fly Stretching in Batumi

Gentle work on ligaments and joints. The path to flexibility and the splits. Group and private classes for all levels.

What is Fly Stretching

It is a workout performed in hammocks, which provide support for gently stretching the muscles using your own body weight. This practice allows you to safely perform movements in the air, taking the strain off your joints and spine.

The classes provide a sense of lightness, help you gain control over your body, and develop flexibility without pain.

Benefits of Fly Stretching

The classes combine elements of yoga, acrobatics, and classical stretching

  • Healthy posture

Helps correct slouching and relieve tension in the neck and lower back.

  • Deep stretching

The hammock allows you to gently increase your range of motion and achieve the splits more quickly.

  • Vestibular system

Improves your sense of balance and spatial awareness.

  • Stabilizing muscles

Engages the deep muscles that maintain balance in the air.

  • Control and coordination

Develops agility and provides a new sense of body awareness.

  • Anti-stress effect

Inverted poses and swaying in the hammock calm the nervous system.

How Fly Stretching classes work

All classes are structured from simple to complex, so that you can immerse yourself in the practice step by step and get the most out of it.

  • Warm-up and adjustment

We start with a gentle joint warm-up and prepare the muscles for stretching. We learn to trust the hammock, adjust the fabric to our height, and get used to working in the air.

  • Main stretching session

We perform sequences to improve flexibility in the legs, back, and shoulder girdle. We use the hammock as an aid for gentle spinal elongation and to engage the stabilizing muscles.

  • Relaxation in the “Cocoon”

The final part of the session is complete relaxation inside the hammock to pleasant music. The gentle swaying allows you to completely disconnect from external noise and recharge your energy.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to frequently asked questions about Fly Stretching classes at our studio.
  • Absolutely. The hammock can hold up to 300 kg, and our trainers closely monitor your every move, adapting the exercises to your fitness level.

  • With regular practice, your vestibular system adapts and any discomfort goes away. In the first few classes, we transition into inverted poses very gradually and for short periods of time.

  • Yes, that’s one of the main goals. Fly Stretching effectively combats slouching and neck tension caused by sedentary work.

  • For classes in hammocks, it’s best to choose clothing without zippers or snaps: leggings and a fitted T-shirt with covered shoulders (so the hammock fabric doesn’t rub against your skin). We practice in socks or barefoot.

  • The main contraindications relate to inverted poses (high blood pressure, head injuries, recent surgeries). Otherwise, stretching in a hammock is accessible to everyone.
